Soooo....what'd I miss?
Let's see... Galadriel, Eärwen and Huan in the Kinslaying. The Valar council after, Uinen's storm.
Ok so now I'll have until next session to work on my season outline suggestion....
Yep, I think that will be good!
Well we'll see what's possible to do.
Ok I brought up Húan. So sue me! :)
It was a valid point - I think that shying away from difficult/problematic situations is not the way to go. Huan should have a pretty solid moral compass, but he should also be with Celegorm, who enthusiastically and bloodily participated in the Kinslaying, so....we have a difficulty to resolve there.
Yeah I'm joking a little, I actually think it was a necessary question. It's just that we were on the verge of starting to talk about e3 but instead used like 15 minutes on Huan, who is important but also not a central character
Bonus Kinslaying discussion, because no one wanted to talk about Beleriand :P
Well I was ready to go...
also, Happy Hobbit Day!
Happy Hobbit Day!
Shoot shoot shoot almost forgot!
I'll likely have to leave halfway through today's session. Blah.
Grrr stupid work is going to make me late to Silmfilm how dare it!!
Oops, back on for SilmFilm tomorrow, aren't we. I have parent-teacher interviews in the morning. Boo. Should have signed up for afternoon
Ok so now the balrogs and magic threads are connected both ways...
Moving out of one tiny, tiny apartment into an slightly less tiny one. How do I have so much stuff?!
To be fair, it's about 65% books...
Feels like I've spammed the forum....
Now this babe was of greatest beauty; his skin of a shining white and his eyes of a blue surpassing that of the sky in southern lands
My head hurts....
Over what, in particular?
Mine, too. I was *not* prepared for a deep, existential discussion of death from an immortal point of view.
Between the whiplash of storyline choices and trying to work out the logistics of the Kinslaying event itself...
The Silmarillion was published on the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows? That's... oddly appropriate
That is! I didn't realize that before....
Anyone else feel vaguely under-prepared for this session? No? Just me? Alrighty, then.
There was a long discussion of elvish views of death, considering their tendency for reincarnation and how that makes their attitudes different from humans.
Ah. I can see how that would provide material for a longer discussion.
Actually, I've felt that way almost all of this season Marielle. Trying to get back on track...
Silmfilm tomorrow? I can't get the calendar to work on my phone and have lost track of time...
Yay! Might be a couple minutes late (I'll put my daughter on the school bus 6 minutes after start time, 3 minutes away from home), but that's practically early... haha
Have fun! I'll miss this one
Awwww...you'll be missed.

Trying to stay away from customers so that I get out in time for tonight's discussion.
Do what you have to do!
Haha, but it's probably not a good idea to put this before work....
Shhhhh... I'm being a bad influence over here
