Feeling a bit lonely here 'cause I'm the only fan of Tolkien's works that I know of from here (I mean those who like the Silmarillion too). I have been preaching The Silmarillion for years to my friends now, but none of them have converted yet :(
I discovered Tolkien through some friends who read the Hobbit. So far I've read the Hobbit, LOTR, the Silmarillion, UT, Children of Húrin, the first five volumes of the History of Middle-Earth. I've also read some other books by JRRT such as Beowulf, Kullervo, Tom Bombadil etc. Currently reading the History of the Hobbit :)
