I was listening to a lecture on exploring the lord of the rings and he kept saying "a fairy story." This was in regarding Tolkien work "on fairy stories." He must of mentioned those words about 15 times and it stirred something sleeping in my brain. I remembered listening to this lecture by a professor in a totally different subject matter. I forget his name but he was giving a critical critique of Steve Hawking book "A Grand Design." In responding to the Hawking quote "Heaven is a fairy story invented by those afraid of the dark." This professor said "Atheism is a fairy story invented by those afraid of the light." Thanks Signum for allowing me to remember this.
