As was mentioned in the music commissioning session there will be one song in season 7, the funeral dirge for Azaghâl that we see in Episode 8. I have not written anything yet but the plan is for it to be sung in low male voices in Khuzdul, so I will need low voices. I am not ruling out female voices as the dwarven music in Rings of Power included female voices to good effect (Disa was fantastic), but as this is diegetic music, the actual song that the dwarves carrying Azaghâl's body will be singing, there are no female warriors on the field. I might transition the music into score which may give me an opportunity to introduce female voices as well.
