Casting Tulkas

To be serious... I don't know. I've only seen him act very briefly, and it is my impression that he can look serious and kind of stern, and as you say, likeable. He might not be the laughing Tulkas we need.
 
Oh I don't know, this is hard... We're looking for a young, burly actor... The problem is, the younger actors are more athletic than burly. I mean, look at Charlie Hunnam. He would be pretty good if he was bigger. He's got muscle but he is a bit slim. It's the same thing with Chris Hemsworth - and on top of that, he's git this serious look on his face all the time.
 
Sheamus the wrestler. Currently sporting the mohawk and braided beard which I really like for Tulkos for some reason. Don't know if he can act though...
