He's a good actor who can take this role as a seemingly boring person and make him interesting. He has a kind, calm, stable quality that could appeal to Galadriel. I think he's a good singer too, which could be useful.

I nominate Josh Brolin. Imagine him having silver hair, he will look wise, mysteriously and even attractive to a "young" Galadriel. He is an actor that has played many different roles. So he might still surprise you after 20 seasons of Silm Film.
