One of the issues that’s been coming up for next season is how to get Celebrimbor out of Nargothrond before Turin shows up.

An idea I’ve had is that he goes back to the Feanorians in attempt to stop whatever evil plans Curufin has once he takes over from Maedhros. And this could explain why the Sons of Feanor wait so long before doing the Second Kinslaying if Celebrimbor can temporarily talk them out of it.

I thought Celegorm was in charge of the Second Kinslaying.
 
He is, but in the script discussions they’ve talked about it probably being Curufin who convinces Celegorm to do it, so I was just going off of that.
