Hello! I’m a first-time poster here but a long-time listener to Corey’s many podcasts, going all the way back to the Silmarillion Seminar days, and just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone who has participated over the years and made my commute to work something to look forward to instead of something to dread.
Anyway, I was curious to know if anyone here has read the very excellent new comic series “DIE” by Kieron Gillen and Stephanie Hans. The third issue was just released and for a Tolkien fan, it’s not to be missed. I won’t spoil it, but I recommend you check it out. (The first two issues are good as well, but this latest one - wow.)
The title, by the way, is a reference to the dice used in D&D-style role-playing games, and the premise of the book is that a group of adults are basically trapped in a fantasy RPG world that they created when they were children. You can find it on Comixology - I’d love to hear your thoughts.
