Diriel is the wife of Curufin and mother of Celebrimbor. The Hosts compared her to Nerdanel in character: wants Celebrimbor to be better than his father, regal, strong-willed, proud and outspoken, but gentler than Nerdanel. She will be captured, and not make it out until the War of Wrath (if she makes it out at all), put to work in the forges of Angband.
