Horn in Stangard

I just watched part of Great River Gallivanting (6, I think), in which Gryfflet meets Athulf, who had been purloining food in Stangard to keep his dogs alive. I was a bit disappointed that no reference was made to the 13th Century Romance of Horn, where Athulf is one of Horn's companions in the land of Westernesse. Since Horn is central to such an important quest line in Lotro, and there seems to association also with Tolkien's Westernesse, I thought that perhaps that association might be worth some mention or exploration.
