Is there a forum for The Nature of Middle-earth book? Or is this it? Because I gave up on the live sessions last year.... I see now I have to review them on FB... and I have questions.
After reviewing the first session about Time in M-e... one thing puzzles me. If one Valian day (one Tree-day) = 1 sun year.... and there are seasons in Valinor, what causes them? Since the sun is "domed out" of Valinor and it sheds no light there, only lit by the Two Trees... how can seasons functionally exist in Valinor? Does Tolkien address this issue?
