For the past 4 seasons, the Silmarillion Film Project has happened at 10 AM Eastern time on Friday mornings (typically every two weeks). This schedule has survived the birth of Dave's son Wally, and Corey's push to have Signum University accredited in the state of New Hampshire. But a disruption was bound to happen eventually!
As you may know, Trish Lambert begins a new job this month. While I wish her all the best in her newest endeavor, it means she is no longer available on Friday mornings to participate in Silm Film
As you are more likely to know, Corey Olsen's broadcast schedule is quite booked already. So, alternative time slots when Corey, Trish, and Dave will all be available are rather limited. Corey has suggested moving Silm Film to Thursday evenings, at 10 PM Eastern Time. All three of the Hosts are free at that time and would be able to continue Silm Film moving forward.
Obviously, this time is much less friendly to the European viewers. The Twitch stream will be available as a recording immediately, which helps with keeping people in the loop, but does make live participation nigh impossible for those not in North America.
Corey asked me to reach out to everyone here and see what you have to say about the new proposed schedule. He hates to change the current schedule, but doesn't see much choice at the moment. What impact will this change have on people's ability to participate?
Note: Session 4-17 will still happen on Friday June 7th at 10 AM Eastern Time, as usual. Session 4-18 will occur at the newly scheduled time.
