Not a question but a comment

I'm slowly catching up on ExLOTR (I'm on ep. 66 right now) and I must say I'm enjoying myself immensely. Two things that I especially want to thank you for: 1) the extra time you take to explain the origins and usages of many of the words 21st century people aren't always conversant with, e.g. michel, kempt, etc., and 2) the way you casually bring in other pieces of literature when giving examples of language usage and writing styles. My TBR pile (fortunately it's virtual, no more than a list in my head right now) grows by at least one book/poem/literary commentary every discussion I listen to. By the time I catch up with the class, I expect to have several more year's-worth of reading to do.
