Roäc is a talking Raven that lives in the vicinity of Erebor, Chief of the Ravens of Ravenhill. He is older, about 153 years of age during The Hobbit (which would make him 160 during the Frame).

I think we should cast an older, more venerable actor in the role, who is still capable of delivering a snarky line or two (or more).

Anthony Hopkins

Age: 81
Height: 5'9"
Roles: Dr. Hannibal Lector in the Hannibal series, Don Diego de la Vega/Zorro in The Mask of Zorro, Odin in the MCU

That suggestion is absolutely hilarious. I love it!

(Although, I might think that we perhaps should save Hopkins for something slightly bigger.)

No need to 'save' Anthony Hopkins - voice actors can be re-cast as other roles in the series later if we want to.

Also...he might not prove as long lived as Christopher Lee, so might as well cast him while we can!

Anthony Hopkins is a great actor, of course. He knows how to make the most of a bit part. His Methuselah in that weird Noah movie was the best part of it.
