A few things are coming out in this discussion. There seems to be grave misunderstandings about the timeline, and we will need to work that out prior to sorting out what events go in what episodes. So, again, with the GANTT chart, let's focus on identifying all the discrete events/stories we want to tell, roughly in order for each storyline or character. We can wait on the Villains for 2 weeks, as the Villain discussion will no doubt inform that, but we should have all the info we need for the Men and the Elves at this point.
Also, it's important to remember that we aren't starting from scratch here. We have already had 13 sessions (approx 26 hours of discussion) regarding the content of Season 5. All of that discussion should inform our decisions in putting together a timeline and a season outline. If we have made decisions about which events happen prior to other events, those decisions should be reflected in the suggestions here.
Some things are definitely up for debate, and likely won't be finalized prior to the Session in 4 weeks when we sit down with the hosts and hash this all out. Something like...where does Aredhel's story begin and end? There is some flexibility to tell that story in a way we want to tell it, while moving events to different parts of the timeline, earlier or later in the season. For those events, I'm willing to indicate 'question marks' on the GANTT chart and include a variety of opinions of how to proceed. I still want to figure out the elements of her story and now it progresses, at least.
I am not willing to rearrange items whose timing has already been discussed and determined. I consider those discussions the starting point of how to build the episodes. So, we will introduce the House of Bëor in Episode 1. We will introduce the House of Haleth next with the Stockade Battle. And then we will introduce the House of Hador (including Hador). We are not going to have the conflict between the House of Hador and the Green Elves in Episode 1. That is not what was discussed or decided, and therefore does not work. (If you do not recall that, this post from May clarifies it: https://forums.signumuniversity.org...n-5-03-season-outline.3847/page-10#post-34460 )
