Hi, I am trying to catch up with this amazing project and I was listening to S4E9.
I agree with Marielle, I am also in love with the hobbits/entwives idea.
This also leads to great opportunities: what if the hobbits that we know are the ones that went West to help the Entwives reunite with the Ents?
They got to Greenwood in the Third age (so close to actually finding the Ents in Fangorn) but then Sauron came to Dol Guldur and they had to worry only about survival (so forgot about their quest).
Imagine the payoff when we see the Old Forest next to the Shire and especially when finally Merry and Pippin find Fangorn!
It still remains a mistery whether there are still hobbits loving with the entwives far in the east, with the tragedy that the hobbits finally found them but in a very different context.
