We must have more information about morgual hamsters. Imagine if Saruman used these to spy on the hobbits!

The real villain is the hamsters we met along the way.

Saruman does not utilize Morgul hamsters. The hamsters under his command are known as 'Hamster-Hai'. They can be readily identified by the white fur on their backs in the shape of a hand. Morgul-hamsters are under the control of the Nazgul. This variety is characterized by having red and lidless eyes.

Both Hamster-Hai and Morgul-hamsters are not recommended as pets, as both have vicious temperaments, and are prone to bite.
