A quick pitch for Calgary as an Alberta moot location:
  1. 1.5 million people in the City with a further 2 million within a 3 hour drive (which is considered reasonable in Alberta)
  2. City has an annual Comic Exposition with great attendence
  3. Wealthy population has discretionary income, and likes novelty
  4. We have a real estate developer, Melcor developement https://www.melcor.ca/space-for-lease/alberta/calgary/
    1. They are a major sponsor of a YMCA in Calgary, which always makes me smile
    2. If they were brought on as a major sponsor, it could be Melcor Moot!
 
5. Proximity to Banff National Park, which is beautiful and probably a place elves would live.
