I feel like he is there, in the background, as one of Yavanna's (unnamed) Maiar. So, onscreen, yes, but more an extra than in need of casting.

I am specifically avoiding them. While I know that we could certainly dye their hair or put wigs on them, there is already the problem that people view the sons of Elrond as 'mischievous troublemakers' in fanon, and that's based almost solely on thinking all twins are the Weasley twins.

Ah but they could act against that stereotype - changing the view of the sons of Elrond and of themselves at the same time.
