Can I ask as question about the "Bed Trick"? I know it came up in the first part of the book with Uther, and I'm not sure if it comes up again, but it's a common trope in Chaucer, Shakespeare, etc.

Professor Olsen, can you give some insight into the average Medieval reaction to the Bed Trick? Was it something along the lines of, "Oh yeah, that really happens sometimes." or was it "Oh yeah, right. Like that could ever happen."?
