Amlach is the leader of one of the factions in what will become the House of Hador. A brown-haired man in his 30s, he has a proud, arrogant demeanor and more aggressive personality, who is good at hunting. Amlach doesn't like the Elves, but is compelled to work with them after Sauron impersonates him at the Council at Estolad; afterwards he works with Maedhros.
This is probably typecasting, but arrogant and aggressive characters is one of the things Alfie Allen's characters are known for.
