Glamdring (Sindarin for Foe-hammer) is the sword of Turgon, King of Gondolin. The sword was presumably used in the Nirnaeth Arnoediad, but was lost in the Fall of Gondolin and for six and a half thousand years the sword passes out of all knowledge until 2941 T.A., when it is found in the Trollshaws in Eriador between Bree and Rivendell. Gandalf uses the sword throughout the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. The sword has inscriptions on it that identify it as Glamdring, and is notable for its scabbard and jeweled hilt. Glamdring is also known as "Beater" to the Goblins, who have a special hatred for it, even moreso than Orcrist, the "Goblin-Cleaver".

It's up for debate whether or not Glamdring will first appear this season or Season 7 (what appears to be when the Nirnaeth takes place), but since Gandalf is the main character of the Frame it will likely be in his hands a lot and might see some action.

Link for Glamdring on Tolkien Gateway since I'm having trouble with posting images
