Road Crossing scene- is time of day a factor?

I wanted to ask if it is possible that the time of day is a factor in what the Nazgûl can see when Frodo and company cross the road. We get no explicit reference to what time of day it is, but my guess from the preceding paragraph about their packing up is that they get to the road around midday. We know that Bilbo casts a shadow when he’s wearing the ring and I was wondering if perhaps Frodo, being somewhere in the wraithification himself due to the Witch King’s blade, might cast some kind of shadow that is visible in the wraith world (and thus to a Nazgûl on Weathertop) when he comes out into the ‘real world’ sunlight that would not have been visible when they were under cover of trees. Not really sure how light/time of day influence what the Nazgûl see, but it occurred to me that this could be a factor and I’d love to know if could be a possibility.

My apologies if this is discussed in an episode I haven’t heard yet- I’m still catching up!
