Would Frodo trust Aragorn if he was a Elf/Hobbit?

I think No. Without mentioning all of the changes that come further down the line, it is useful to change small things to see: How the characters in our (canon) world are portrayed in a clearer light. Note:I won't be talking about Trotter and the Wild-Hobbits. If Aragorn was an elf Frodo would be more inclined to trust him. However, if you think about it: An Darkly-clad elf with a fine sword is trying to tempt some fair folk into a forest. Remind you of anyone? Frodo would not be well-versed in the Sillmarion but as Bilbo's adopted son he might of heard fragments of lore on the dark elves and if not he would probably belive that all races are fallible. Aragorn, as a man, would not arise as much distrust among Frodo as an elf. Hobbits wouldn't be trusted as well. If knows about the journey and the black riders then the whole escape would (in Frodo's eyes) pointless.
