Thank you for your patience!
This thread is now open again.
I would like to stress a few things:
It is important to understand that this is a collaborative project, which means that sometimes things aren't going to go the way you want or even the way you expect. Most of you know this, most of the time. It's ok to sometimes forget about it - someone will remind you. Not accepting it won't really work.
It is ok to mourn a decision that went in a way that disappointed you. It is not ok to repeatedly insult members of this project as foolish or ignorant.
...Let me expand on this for a bit: There is sometimes a slight tendency to imagine a "us vs. them" situation, where we, the forum people, are in conflict with the execs, who do not understand us, or don't care about what we think or how we feel. It is perhaps a natural tendency caused by the special circumstances forming our communication (lack of direct contact, the terms "executives" etc.) but one that we have to be careful of. The execs do decide things, and now and again there will be times when we won't like the decisions made. We all agree that it is more than ok to have a difference of opinion. This has to be a forum for many voices. But sometimes, it seems, some of us forget that we came here because Corey had this idea, and we're here because he, Trish and Dave host the sessions once every two weeks. The truth is, the fact that this is a collaborative project means that the execs and the forum people are part of the same group, each and everyone working together. The perspectives are sometimes different, and the podcast hosts have the final say about things, but we are striving towards the same goal. And since the execs are part of the group, the rules of conduct also apply to how we talk about them. So, remember that you want to be nice to everyone involved - execs, old members, newcomers, and be nice when you talk about them.
Please take a look at the rules of conduct if you feel you might have forgotten them:

So, let's get back to silmfilming!
